Tracking labor time across job order phases
Instant feedback on the progress status of each job order
For Croesus S.r.l. we developed a custom MTM software (Methods-Time Measurement), designed to monitor labor time during manual production phases.
Thanks to the MTM solution, the company can analyze real production costs related to manual operations with high precision. Each operator is equipped with a mobile device featuring a camera and internet connection for scanning and identifying assigned tasks.
By following a structured job order system, organized by tasks, phases, and production cycles, operators can access detailed instructions for each activity. The process begins by scanning the barcode associated with the task, launching an interface with a built-in stopwatch. Operators then start tracking their work time and initiate the production phase. Once the task is completed, they stop the timer and input the number of pieces produced.
At the same time, the Production Manager can access the materialSUITE® back office to monitor real-time production progress.
This allows Croesus S.r.l. to obtain accurate, real-time data on labor costs per batch, improving both cost estimation and delivery scheduling.
